Gladstreams Bible School Session 2020/21
Using a Cinema Classroom (last year located in Springburn AOG Church,) we were pleased to offer an opportunity for those interested in a comprehensive study of the Content of the Bible and the issues emerging from it in a Non-Denominational Supported Christian Setting..
The course Launched Thursday October 5th 2019 and Year 1 ran until May 2020.
Free & Flexible – Each Bible Book – Covered in a Comprehensive Content Course
The intention is that by the end of the 2 year course the student would have a fuller appreciation and knowledge of the content, chronology, circumstance, claims and challenge of the record and teaching of the Christian Bible.
A Certificate confirming completion of the Course will be awarded to those who succesfully cover the modules
There are no exams or assignments.
The Video lectures and introductions will give a roadmap through each Bible Book.
Students are expected to supplement lectures with Planned Personal Bible Reading before the next class.
THE PANDEMIC BROUGHT OUR THURSDAY VIDEO CLASSES TO AN ABRUPT HALT IN MARCH 2020 BUT FORTUNATELTY STUDENTS WERE ABLE TO COMPETE YEAR 1 OF THE COURSE AT HOME EITHER BY FOLLOWING THE VIDEO LINKS GIVEN OUT EACH WEEK OR BY USING THE SUPPLIED PEN DRIVES WHICH CONTAINED EVERY BIBLE BOOK INTRODUCTION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PROGRAMME GUIDE
* YEAR 2 WILL BEGIN ON THURSDAY 1st OCTOBER 2020.
* YEAR 2 WILL BE CONDUCTED AS A WEEKLY ONLINE COURSE ONLY.
* NEW STUDENTS ARE WELCOME AND THEY SHOULD CONSIDE YEAR 2 AS THEIR
YEAR1 AS IT IS INTENDED THAT NEXT SESSION YEAR 1 WILL BE REPEATED AND THE COURSE BECOMES A ROLLING PROGRAMME.
Flash drives can be sent to new students with every video lesson copied on them as well as digital copies of every handout.
The cost of supplying them is (cost price) £5.00 ( including postage).
WE WILL MISS OUT ON OUR COFFEE AND DISCUSSION TIMES BUT THE INTENTION IS TO CREATE A GLADSTREAMS "WHAT'S AP GROUP" TO ALLOW FEEDBACK AND INFORMATION AND COMMENT WEEKLY ON THE LESSONS.
This is a good course on Bible Content because the student will read the whole Bible with greater insight and understanding

We use freely available Bible introduction video recorded lectures given by internationally acclaimed Bible teacher David Pawson & superb detailed Bible introduction materials from the Bible Project as a basis for an introduction to studying each Bible book.
